Two Hikers Missing- Search Underway

A search is on for two missing hikers. According to the Jefferson City Police Department, the two men left yesterday for a hiking trip near the Buzzard Roost area of Cocke County on the border with Haywood County NC. Missing are 72 year old Dan Edmond Evans, who is a white male 6’ 1” tall and weighs 200 pounds. The other man is 71 year old Donald Edward Willi. He is a white male 5’ 11” tall and weighs 210 pounds. The two men are likely in a 1991 black Dodge Durango displaying TN tag 884 BBQQ. First responders from both Cocke County and Haywood County are currently looking for the two men.
