Union Cemetery Gravestones Vandalized

Someone has vandalized gravestones in Union Cemetery. Police were called to the cemetery Monday morning after the property manager had noticed two headstones that had been damaged. The first headstone damaged was a two person stone, both flower pots connected to it appeared to have been broken against the stone. The flowerpots were scattered around the stone and three indentions were chipped into the front of that stone. The second was a single person headstone, which had similar damage to the first stone. The single flowerpot connected to that second stone also appeared to have been broken against the stone. Later, another individual reported to police that a third headstone had been damaged. This stone had been tipped over from the stone base. There are no suspects at this time regarding that vandalism.
