Wal-Mart Victim of Two Separate Thefts Over The Weekend

The Newport Police department had issued an arrest warrant for a woman who stole items from Wal-Mart over the weekend. The woman was ID’d as 41 year old April Mayorga. Wal-Mart loss prevention told police that Mayorga took a fan, AC Pro Freon and a 10 piece tent from the sporting goods area…took the items to customer service and stated she was returning them…getting a refund of $375. The warrant for her arrest is for theft under $1,000.

A bigger theft over the weekend from Wal-Mart. Loss prevention stated that three black males walked into the store and went to the electronics department. The three subjects then went behind the electronics counter and took one Apple IPhone XS Max, a Samsung A51 phone and a Samsung Galaxy A32. The value of those three cell phones…$1200. The suspects have not yet been identified.
