Whitlock Now Charged In Greene County

A man who was the subject of a recent manhunt in Cocke County now faces an additional charge in Greene County. Drury Whitlock was arrested at a home in Del Rio on May 4 after a 10 day manhunt for him. Whitlock is currently being held in the Greene County Detention Center. According to the Greene County Sheriff’s office, Whitlock claimed that he had been sexually assaulted by another inmate during his incarceration. An investigation was then launched into the allegations, which soon were debunked by the investigations. When confronted, Whitlock admitted that the sexual assaults never happened. He is now being charged in Greene County with Filing A False Report.
