Woman Arrested For Misuse Of 911
A woman was arrested over the weekend for making non-emergency calls to 911. Cocke County deputy Blake Cupp had to be dispatched to a home on McCowen Creek Road for a woman who had called 911 five times. When he arrived the woman identified as Carole Gosa was walking around in her back yard saying she needed medical treatment. EMS arrived and she refused treatment…then Gosa, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics tried to barricade herself inside a shed on the property. She was advised that a taser could be used on her…and the taser had no effect on her.. Deputy Cupp was finally able to subdue Gosa and transported her to jail wile she kicked on the cage inside of the patrol car. She faces charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and misuse of 911.
