Woman Arrested For Public Intoxication

Early this morning Morristown police responded to Orbit Electric on east Morris Blvd. about a report of a woman lying in the median. Officers found the woman lying in the median near Heritage Propane. The woman was identified as 38 year old Melissa Mallett of Morristown. She was speaking erratically can had a hard time standing. Mallett was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Hamblen County Jail.
