Woman Arrested For Trespassing At Walgreens

A woman was arrested on Thursday for trespassing when she appeared at Walgreen’s in Newport after being ordered to stay off the property last month. Walgreen’s called Newport police to report that Alice Vick was back in their store…she had been accused of shoplifting in April and ordered to stay away from the Walgreen’s. Vick had been in the store for a long period of time and when police arrived had two carts overflowing with hundreds of dollars of merchandise. Vick told police that she had no money to pay for the items, but that a man named “Hammer” would be bringing her money. Newport police could not make contact with anyone named “Hammer” and Alice Vick was arrested for trespassing and told once again to stay out of the Walgreen’s.
