Woman charged With 4 Counts Of Reckless Endangerment

The Cocke County Sheriff’s office arrested a woman Friday night in the Edwina Bridgeport area after an assault call. Dustin Hurley told a deputy that he and 28 year old Summer Wilde had gotten into an argument over money for alcohol, in which he says that Wilde became physical striking him several times, she then left the home. Hurley says Wilde returned to the home several hours later and a violent altercation ensued with Wilde getting a knife out of the gun safe and cutting up Hurley’s shirts before then threatening to kill him in front f the children that were in the home. Hurley says that Wilde even threatened the children, all 11 years of age or under, with the knife. Wilde then left the home and was later caught after police pulled over a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed on Hwy 25/70 East. Summer Wilde was the passenger in that vehicle. she was taken into custody and is charged with four counts each of Reckless Endangerment with a Deadly Weapon and Domestic Assault.
