Woman Killed In One Vehicle Accident Sunday

A Cocke County woman was killed in a one vehicle accident Sunday afternoon. According to The Tennessee Highway Patrol, 75 year old Ronnie Hommel was driving a Ford F-250 headed north on Highway 340 just before Long Creek Road when he ran off the road. The truck hit several trees befor it overturned. Hommel was injured in the crash, but his passenger 69 year old Deborah Hommel, was killed. The THP says no charges are being filed in that accident.
