Woman Pays Kool-Aid Price For Sheet Sets

Police are looking for a woman who stole from the Dollar General at 4361 Cosby Hwy. The store manager says the theft happened on Monday when a woman identified as 37 year old Tabitha Simmons, went through the self checkout and scanned a kool aid packet in the place of two sheet sets. Simmons then put the sheet sets in a bag and walked out of the store, after just paying for the packet of kool aid. Loss to the store was $44. Simmons’ address is actually across the county line in Sevier County, so the Sevier County Sheriff’s office had to be contacted to assist. Simmons was not found at home. A warrant has been issued for her arrest for theft.
