Woman Turns Herself In Regarding Ring Doorbell Theft

Last week a woman called Newport police to report her Ring doorbell had been stolen. The victim stated that she had received notification from her Ring doorbell of movement on her property. When she pulled up the video, she could see the suspect 42 year old Charlotte Leibrock holding the Ring doorbell in her hands. The victim stated she returned to the property and found Leibrock and two unknown men on the property holding the Ring doorbell…the three suspects refused the victim’s demands to return the Ring doorbell camera and left the property. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Charlotte Leibrock. Early Monday morning, with her attorney, Leibrock turned herself in to police at the Cocke County Fire Department. She is charged with theft of property less than $1,000 plus vandalism. Police are still trying to locate the other two suspects.
