Truck Stolen in Parrottsville

A Morristown man reported a stolen truck to authorities on Sunday. Danny Haynes told a Cocke County deputy that he had purchased a home on highway 340 in Parrottsville where he was keeping the 1995 Mazda King Cab truck. Haynes said the truck disappeared sometime between 9:30 Saturday night and 10:30 Sunday morning. Hayes told the deputy that had the title to the truck but it had not been registered yet. Haynes also said a 5 x 8 metal mesh trailer was stolen from that property in Parrottsville about 2 weeks earlier.
