Time Out Travel Center Tussle Thursday

Quite the scene at the Time Out Travel Center Thursday evening. Three men were hassling customers at the pumps trying to get money from them…panhandling. Newport officers were told that Robert Reed, Randall McCaul and Gregory Silver were all asking customers for money then getting rude with the customers that refused. Gregory Silver in particular attempted to fight one customer who refused to give him money. Silver appeared under the influence of narcotics. Robert Reed had tried to fight as well saying he was defending Gregory Silver. Both of those men were placed under arrest and taken to the Cocke County Jail Annex. Randall McCaul was also placed into custody as he wanted on a failure to appear warrant in Washington County.
