Travis Tritt Cancels Shows…Tells Fans To Hold The Line
Back in September, Jason Isbell was supposed to headline the Rhythm and Roots Reunion in Bristol due to the festival refusing to make Covid vaccination a requirement for admission to the festival. Several other acts followed suit putting the festival organizers into a frenzy to find replacement acts.
Now, we have the opposite happening. Travis Tritt has cancelled several shows because of Covid vaccine mandates at the venues. Travis says those mandates discriminate against his fans. The cancelled shows are in Muncie, Indiana…Philadelphia, MS…Marty Stuart’s hometown…Peoria, IL…and Louisville, KY.
Travis says this is a sacrifice that he is willing to stand up for. He says he apologizes to anyone that this inconveniences and will reschedule unrestricted shows at a later date…Travis told his fans in a tweet “The fear-mongering narrative is breaking down. People who stand up against this narrative scare the hell out of those who promote fear. Hold the line and stand strong.”
