Dead body Found In Greenville…Family Suspects Foul Play

Greeneville police are investigating the discovery of a dead body in an abandoned home Sunday. Police say the body of 20 year old Caitlin Crum was found in the abandoned home located on west Barton Ridge Road…east of downtown. Greeneville police confirmed Caitlin Crum’s car was found at Towering Oaks Baptist Church over a mile away from the abandoned house where her body was found. Family members told police they are suspicious of foul play in her death. One family member stated that Crum was not known to be around that area of Greeneville and she did not like to walk long distances…nor was it like her to just enter abandoned houses. The family believes someone left her body in that house. Police are investigating this case…Caitlin Crum’s body has been sent to a forensics center for an autopsy to uncover her cause of death.
