Fight Between Parents Ends In Trip To Jail

A fight between custodial parents wound up in one going to jail for assault over the weekend. Employees at Weigel’s watched as Alisha Howard, met at that location with Trevor and Edith Stewart to exchange custody of a child. According to witnesses, Edith Stewart began arguing with Alisha Howard almost immediately and at one point threw a soda at Howard, then Stewart began punching Howard in the face. Employees stated that Edith Stewart started the fight and would not stop. She was taken into custody by police and charged with assault.
