Autopsy Confirms Amber Miller Died From Dog Attack
Autopsy results have confirmed what has been suspected…Amber Miller died from a dog attack last summer. The Knox County Regional Forensic Center released autopsy results last week on the 29 year old Cocke County woman. Back in July of 2021, witnesses stated they saw 3 dogs attack Amber Miller in front of a home on Jimtown Road. According to the autopsy…her left upper extremity was amputated and approximately 42 percent of her skin was gone. Numerous drugs were found in her system at the time of death including amphetamine, methamphetamine and fentanyl. Although there were drugs in her system, the autopsy report states that Amber Miller died from the extensive wounds suffered in that dog attack. Amber Miller’s death followed an earlier dog attack that happened in April of 2021…Tony Ahren’s was killed in that dog attack in virtually the same location on Jimtown Road. As of this time, no one has been charged in the deaths of either Miller of Ahrens.
