Woman Arrested For Stealing From Walgreen’s

Saturday morning a woman was arrested after stealing nearly $300 from Walgreen’s. When police arrived they found 48 year old Daphne Russell loading items into her car. Management at Walgreen’s stated that Russell paid for around $58 worth of merchandise and left the store without purchasing $338 worth of goods. Ms. Russell stated she did forget to pay for some items and that it was the cashiers fault for not ringing up items that were hidden in her cart. Russell was charged with misdemeanor larceny.
