Cocke County Long Term Recovery Group Names Executive Director
The Cocke County Long Term Recovery Group now has an Executive Director. On Monday, it was announced that Laurie Duckett has been hired as the executive director of the group that is helping flood victims in the long term recovery process by helping put victims in touch with those resources that can assist in getting them back on their feet. They work with businesses, non-profits, government and faith-based organizations and citizens to help flood victims recover.
Duckett will now lead that organization originally spearheaded by Michelle Lane. Duckett has recently worked as the Community Organizer for Clean Water Expected in East Tennessee.
