Cocke County Woman Arrested For Assaulting Her Father

A woman was arrested this week after she assaulted her father. A deputy was dispatched to the home of 75 year old Joe Fowler on Wednesday. He told the deputy that his daughter, 37 year old Tami Fowler, had struck him in the face with her fist and then threw a pot of hot coffee in his face. Fowler and his wife both stated that Tami Fowler had been regularly abusing her father, to the point that the 75 year old man has been sleeping in the home’s garage, and locking himself inside to keep his daughter from attacking him. When Tami Fowler was taken into custody, she resisted and finally had to be tased into compliance. Tami Fowler is charged with Domestic Assault, Abuse of an Elderly Adult and Resisting Arrest.
