GSNMP Parking Passes Sell-Out Quickly

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park says that the annual parking passes for the park are quite the hot item. Those annual passes, which cost $40 went on sale last week, and by Wednesday all 2,000 passes that were available were gone. You can still order those passes, but you will have to wait to get your pass till more inventory comes in. Daily and weekly passes will go on sale February 21st. Anyone who plans to park for more than 15 minutes at designated parking areas within the park’s boundaries will be required to have a parking pass displayed in their vehicle starting March 1st.
