Man Arrested For Disorderly Conduct Wednesday

Police arrested a man in Newport Wednesday morning for causing a disturbance on Myers Circle. Police were originally called to Bowman Drive about a man in black shorts and a gray shirt walking around yelling. Police located the man, 37 year old Lucas Allison in the front yard of an apartment on Myers Circle. Allison stated he was just doing cardio and stretching. He admitted to using drugs the night before but did not specify what. Allison did not seem to be a danger to himself or anyone else, so he was told to just go inside. 10 minutes later, police were called back to Myers Circle as someone had called police reporting that Allison was walking around yelling for someone to kill him. He was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
