Man charged With Reckless Endangerment With A Deadly Weapon
A man who told police that he was just shooting at cans is now in jail after shooting into another person’s home. A woman on Rock City Road called 911 Friday night saying a bullet landed on a table in her home next to where she was sitting. A bullet hole entry on the front door side of the trailer and an indentation on the interior wall of the trailer were observed by a Cocke County deputy along with a bullet resting on the table by the front door. 35 year old Cameron Carmichael was interviewed by police. He stated that he was just shooting his handgun at some cans. However, the house were the bullet went through was located behind where Carmichael said he was shooting at. A loaded SCCY 9 mm handgun was found at the scene. Carmichael is now charged with Reckless Endangerment with a Deadly Weapon.
