Man Dead In Stabbing In Greeneville

A man is dead after a stabbing in Greeneville last night. According to Greeneville police, officers were called around 9pm Thursday night to a location on Sunset Street. They found a man that had been stabbed and was unresponsive. The man was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of relatives. Greeneville police say they have a suspect in custody, but are not releasing anymore information due to the investigation being ongoing.
