Two People Struck By Vehicle In Pigeon Forge
Two poeple had to be transported to the hospital after they were hit by a vehicle Friday night in Pigeon Forge. According to police, two people were crossing the northbound lanes of the Parkway at stop light number 3, East Wears Valley Road, when they were hit by a vehicle. The pedestrians were not in a crosswalk when they were struck. The two injured had to be transported to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and is fully cooperating with police.
This marks the second time this month that a pedestrian has been hit by a vehicle in Pigeon Forge. Earlier this month, a woman was crossing Dollywood Lane near the Parkway when she was hit by a vehicle. That woman later died from her injuries.
