Two More Arrests Made In Greene County Shooting
Two more arrests have been made in relation to a shooting that happened in Greene County earlier this month. On October 11, deputies responded to a burglary in progress and a shooting at a home located in the 7000 block of Old Stage Rd. A woman was shot in the hand and back during that incident.
At the time, two people, Mikaila Chapman-Delotto of Greeneville, and Stephen “Chastin” Turner of Mosheim were arrested and charged. A third suspect, 29-year-old Trevonde “TJ” Conner of Detroit, Michigan was also named but was still at large. Last week, Conner was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Detroit. He is awaiting extradition back to Greene County and faces several charges including Attempted First Degree Murder and two counts of Especially Aggravated Robbery.
On Tuesday, October 29, a fourth person was identified as being part of the incident. 39 year old William Justin Smith of Afton is now in custody in Greene County. His charges also include Attempted First Degree Murder and two counts of Especially Aggravated Robbery. Smith is being held on a $255,000 bond and is due to appear in court on November 13.
