Fifth Anniversary Of Summer Well’s Disappearance
It was five years ago today that a five year old girl from Hawkins County went missing from her home. On June 15, 2021 around 6pm, Summer Wells walked out of her home on Ben Hill Road in the Beech Creek area of Hawkins County, and was never seen again.
A search of the area began and even though the TBI has gotten thousands of tips, none of those have panned out. The TBI still has an Amber Alert out for Summer Wells, who would have turned 10 in February. A couple years ago, the TBI released a computer generated picture of what Summer Wells would have looked like at the age of nine, but even that yielded no firm leads. The TBI says they have not forgotten about Summer Wells and the case is still being investigated and anyone with credible information is encouraged to contact the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
