PVFD Saves Home From Further Damage

The department says volunteer firefighters were dispatched to a property where the owner was doing some burning, but that burn got out of control. The heat from the blaze actually melted some of the siding on that person’s home. The Parrottsville Fire Department says that you need to refrain from burning unless you are prepared for what could happen. They say this situation could have been much worse has it not been for the department’s quick response.
