Body Found This Week In Erwin Identified As Flood Victim
Crews working to clear debris in Unicoi County located a dead body among the debris near I-26 earlier this week. Positive identification has now been made. The body is that of 29 year old Rosa Maria Andrade Reynoso, who was an employee of Impact Plastics in Erwin. Reynoso was the last worker of Impact Plastics listed as missing. She is one of six employees of Impact Plastics to have been killed in the flood of September 27. That company has come under fire amongst allegations that executives at the plant did not evacuate employees in a timely manner and waited until it was too late for some employees to get out safely. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation along with the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration are currently investigating what happened that day at Impact Plastics.
