Ball Appointed Circuit Court Judge
Governor Bill Lee on Friday announced that Assistant District Attorney Jeremy Ball has been appointed as Circuit Court Judge in the 4th Judicial District. Ball earned his bachelor’s degree at Carson-Newman College and juris doctor at Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville.
Ball takes the seat on the bench that was left vacant after the death of Judge Duane Sloane in a traffic accident last August. Ball’s appointment is immediate. The 4th Judicial District Court covers Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson and Sevier counties.
