Tennessee Men Draw Number Two NCAA Seed
The Tennessee Vols men’s basketball team got revenge on the Auburn Tigers by bouncing them out of the SEC Tournament semi-finals on Saturday. That put Tennessee into the SEC final against the red hot Florida Gators. The Vols trailed by nine at the half and got within six in the second hlaf, but when Chaz Lanier fouled out with 5 1/2 minutes to play, Tennessee’s defeat in the SEC final was sealed. They lose to Florida 86-77.
Now the attention turns to the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee is a number two seed in the midwest regional. They will play the 15th seed Wofford on Thursday evening. Game time is 6:50pm.
The SEC send fourteen teams to the tournament bracket with Auburn and Florida getting number one seeds. Tennessee and Alabama are number two seeds. Other SEC teams making the field are No. 3 Kentucky (Midwest)

The 14 teams from one conference set a new record. The only SEC teams not making the NCAA Tournament are South Carolina and LSU.
