Deadline Coming Up for Property Owners Effected In Flood

A deadline is coming up soon that you need to know about, if you were affected by the flood back in September. The Cocke County Property Assessor’s office has until April 15 to flag properties that were damaged in the flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. This is in regards to the property tax reimbursement. Cocke County Property Assessor Macie Reed says if you have not received a postcard regarding this issue, call the Property Assessor’s office. That number is 423-623-7024.
