CLB Schedules Special Public Hearing On zoning Resolution

The Cocke County Legislative Body has scheduled a special meeting and public hearing to consider adopting a Zoning Resolution for Cocke County. This proposal would put zoning restrictions in place where they do not currently exist in the county. The resolution would establish districts within the county that are outside the corporate limits of any municipality. The zoning resolution would then place regulations for buildings and the uses of land in those zoning districts. This specially called meeting will be on Thursday May 1 at 6pm in the Circuit Courtroom inside the Cocke County Courthouse.
