Cocke County Long Term Recovery Group Looking To Fill Positions

Earlier this month, The Cocke County Long Term Recovery Group named Laurie Duckett as their Executive Director. Now that group is looking to fill two other positions. Those positions are Construction Manager and Volunteer Coordinator.

The Construction Manager will assist clients in their recovery from Hurricane Helene, by overseeing the repair or rebuild of client homes to a safe, sanitary, secure, and functional condition. The construction manager will also assure that the rebuild or repair is done while following State and Local Codes, along with guidelines provided by the Long Term Recovery Group.

The Volunteer Coordinator will be expected to match volunteer skills to areas of greatest need and to be a liaison with partner agencies to provide volunteers for their efforts.
