Three People In Custody After Shooting In Sevier County
Three people are now in custody after a shooting in Sevier County that seriously injured two people. The shooting happened on Maples Branch Road. In announcing the arrests on Friday, Sheriff Michael Hodges stated that the shooting was not a random act of violence, but instead a planned, calculated, and isolated incident. Hodges says that in the early morning hours on Monday, June9, three individuals were responsible for firing multiple shots into the home with a high-powered rifle. The two victims along with the family dog were all hit. The ensuing investigation led to a search warrant being served at a home in the 2500 block of Goldrush Drive on Thursday.
Arrested were 53 year-old Lenore M. Sills, of Pigeon Forge; 30 year old Quinton Cross of Pigeon Forge; and 29 year old Timothy G. Robertson of Sevierville. All three individuals are being charged with 2 counts of Criminal Conspiracy to commit 1st Degree Murder. Sills faces additional charges of 2 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder and 1count of Aggravated Animal Cruelty.
Sheriff Hodges said that the Hamblen County Sheriff’s office and the Morristown Police Department along with the TBI and Sevierville and Pigeon Forge Police Department assisted in that investigation.
