Morristown Individuals Arrested For String Of Vehicle Burglaries
A joint investigation between Jefferson & Sevier Counties has resulted in the arrest of several individuals involved in a string of burglaries. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Dandridge Police Department, and the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office began a joint investigation after numerous vehicle burglaries started on the weekend of August 1.
In Jefferson County, several vehicles were broken into in Historic Hills subdivision, James Way, County Farm Road, and Twin Oaks Apartments in Dandridge. Sevier County had vehicle burglaries in the Seymour and Kodak area.
Investigators soon learned that all the vehicle burglaries were connected with a group of juveniles and adults from Morristown. 3 adults and 3 juveniles have now been arrested and charged with these vehicle burglaries. Charges are pending against another adult male suspect. The identities of those taken into custody was not released.
