A man wanted on felony warrants in Cocke County is in custody after trying to hide inside a residence. A sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a home on Murrell Circle on information that Benjamin Allison was inside that residence. Deputy Rodney Hazelwood was told by one individual that the wanted man was not in the home. However, the home’s owner stated that Allison was inside and gave permission for the home to be searched. Allison was found trying to hide next to a washing machine. He was wanted on felony warrants of burglary and theft. Also in the home was April Sparks who was wanted on two counts of probation violation. Both were taken into custody without incident.
