Cocke County Detectives Seeking Public’s Help

Cocke County detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the man who robbed the Dollar General on Old Hwy 411 on June 8th. That night around 10pm, a male suspect came into the store brandishing what appeared to be a “1911” style semi-automatic handgun. The man stole some merchandise and got away with $580 in cash. The suspect dropped a cell phone during the robbery with a background picture that appears to be the suspect. The suspect fled the scene that night with an accomplice in a vehicle with a long wheel base and offset fog lamps…possibly a 4 door sedan or crossover. This suspect is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous. Video pictures of the subject from the robbery as well as the cell phone picture are posted on the Cocke County sheriff’s office Facebook page with a contact number to contact detectives if you have information that will lead to this suspect being apprehended.
