Blood Drive Monday At Priceless Foods

The nation’s blood supply continues to be low. According to the American Red Cross, part of the reason for the shortage is that non-essential surgeries and other procedures with patients have resumed so that has put a strain on the nation’s blood levels. That shortage applies right here in East Tennessee as well. Medic Regional Blood Center has continued the urgent call for donations. Today you can give blood at the Jefferson City Community Center from noon-6pm. Monday the Medic Mobile Blood Center will be in Newport at PriceLess Foods from 11am -6pm. Donors will receive a limited edition tye-died T-shirt and also a Texas Roadhouse appetizer coupon. Walk-Ins are welcome, but they do prefer you make an appointment…you can do that at medicblood.org.
