Dolly Parton Joins Musicians Hall Of Fame
An East Tennessee legend is entering another hall of fame. Dolly Parton was officially inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville on Tuesday. The Musicians Hall of Fame honors great musicians regardless of musical genres or instruments. Joining Dolly in the Hall of Fame was Keith Urban, record producer Dan Huff, former Doobie Brother Michael McDonald, and legendary bass player Leland Sklar, who was part of James Taylor’s band as well as playing on recordings by artists like Lyle Lovett, Suzy Bogguss, Linda Ronstadt and Jackson Browne.
As for Dolly, this is the fifth major hall of fame induction for the Sevier County native. Dolly is also in the Country Music, Rock and Roll, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the National Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York.
