Man Injured In Single Vehicle Accident

A man was injured in a single vehicle accident on West Highway 25/70 in Newport on Tuesday. A witness stated that he was behind a 20012 Kia Optima that was heading westbound on 25/70 near Clayton Homes when the witness says the car just went off the roadway, crashed into a fence, a building and struck a utility pole. the driver of the Kia, 24 year old Steven Snapp was having seizures and was taken to the Newport Medical Center. Newport Utilities then came and replaced the downed utility pole.
