Slammedenuff Coming To Bristol Motor Speedway
The national car show that was banned from Sevier County last year will now be coming back to East Tennessee, but to Bristol Motor Speedway. The event, “Slammedenuff”, was held last year at the Sevierville Convention Center. However, attendees to the show got so rowdy and caused so much of a disturbance that the city opf Sevierville cancelled the second day of the event and ordered the event and its attendees to leave the city. The Sevier County government then banned the event from coming back.
Now, Slammedenuff is coming back in a partnership with Bristol Motor Speedway. BMS officials say they are aware of the situation last year and are taking the concerns seriously. They say they are working with Slammedenuff as well as local law enforcement to develop an operational plan focused on safety, traffic management, guest expectations, communication and enforcement of unlawful or unsafe behavior.
Bristol TN Officials are aware of concerns surrounding the event and “any form of unlawful behavior, whether at teh venue or elsewhere in the community, will not be tolerated”.
Slammedenuff is expected to be at Bristol Motor Speedway on October 3 &4. Tickets and more information will be available in the coming days at slammedenuff.com.
