Tennessee Getting New Welcome Signs
Travelers coming into the state of Tennessee will soon have a different welcome. The state of Tennessee on Monday announced that new “Welcome To Tennessee” signs will be going up on interstates. Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner Will Reid and Tennessee Department of Tourist Development Commissioner Mark Ezell were joined by Governor Bill Lee in Unicoi County to unveil the first of these signs.
The new signs look like a postcard and will be placed at 16 entry points into the state on Interstates. The one in Unicoi County is on I-26 at the border with North Carolina.
