Woman with 3 Warrants Arrested

A woman wanted in Cocke County was taken into custody earlier this week, but a man went to jail with her. A Cocke county deputy was patrolling in the area of Millertown Road and spotted a Chevy S-10 pickup registered to Nicole Gray, who was a wanted fugitive. Deputies knocked on the door where the S-10 was parked, but no one answered the door. After finding out from the next door neighbor that Gray was indeed in the home, deputies forced their way inside. They found 30 year old Damien Nau lying on the bed. He told deputies that Gray was not inside the home and hadn’t been there in two weeks. Deputies searched the home and found Nicole Gray hiding in the attic. She was taken into custody on three outstanding warrants. Damien Nau was arrested as well. He is charged with Accessory After The Fact.
