Gas Prices Continue To Rise
Gas prices continue to climb. The average price for gas in Tennessee according to AAA is now $3.29 a gallon…that’s up 25 cents from one month ago and nearly 90 cents from just a year ago. Tennessee’s largest cities have some of the highest gas prices…Memphis at $3.34, Nashville at $3.33. Some of the lowest prices are here in east Tennessee…Kingsport averaging $3.23 a gallon while Johnson City average is $3.24. Here in Cocke County…average price is around $3.19…the highest prices down around Hartford. Greene County averaging around $3.19 as well. Hamblen and Jefferson counties averaging around $3.25…the cheapest prices appear to be in Sevier county with an average price of around $3.12 according to Gas Buddy.
