Car Vandalized At Walmart
ON MONDAY, NEWPORT OFFICER ELI SUGGS WAS DISPATCHED TO WALMART CONCERNING A POSSIBLE VEHICLE BREAK IN. THE VICTIM, MELISSA SHEPHERD STATED HER 2007 HONDA CRV HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO. SHEPHERD STATED THERE WAS NO APPARENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE, HOWEVER THE CONTENTS OF HER GLOVE BOX WAS LYING IN THE FLOORBOARD AS WELL AS HER BIBLE AND A PACK OF CIGARETTES MISSING. SHEPHERD STATED THAT THE KEY TO THE VEHICLE IS BROKEN AND SHE DOESN’T KNOW THE WHEREABOUTS OF THE KEY FOB. SHE BELIEVES WHOEVER ENTERED THE VEHICLE MAY HAVE USED THE KEY FOB TO GAIN ENTRY. SHEPHERD VALUES THE KEY FOB AND CONTENTS STOLEN FROM THE VEHICLE AT $305. NO WARRANTS HAVE BEEN ISSUED AT THIS TIME.
