Heavy Turnout For Early Voting So Far

Early voting has been busy so far in Cocke County. Since early voting opened one week ago today on April 13th, 1500 people have early voted. According to Cocke County Administrator of Elections Josh Blanchard, the busiest day for early voting was yesterday when 355 people went through and cast their votes early. Early voting continues today from 9-5 and will be open those same hours tomorrow & Friday…then 9-noon on Saturday. The last day to vote early is one week from tomorrow, Thursday April 28th. The polls will be open an hour later till 6pm that day. The early voting site is in the Western Plaza Shopping Center next to H&R Block. The primary election in Cocke County and the rest of Tennessee is May 3rd.
