Sevier County Deputy Injured

Law enforcement agencies in the area are asking for prayers for a Sevier County sheriff’s deputy who is in serious condition today after an on-duty crash early Sunday morning. The Sevier County Sheriff’s office says that K-9 deputy Jonathan Dodd was involved in that crash with his K-9 partner. Deputy Dodd was transported to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville where he is currently in the intensive care unit. His K-9 partner was not injured in the accident. Details regarding the crash have not been released.
