Man Who Jumped From Car Dies

A man who jumped from a moving vehicle a couple weeks ago in Morristown has died. Back on May 10th, Shirley Byrd was driving on south Cumberland with 47 year old Carl Davis in the backseat. Byrd and Davis were arguing and at one point Byrd told Davis if he didn’t shut up, she would drop him off at the police station. Davis then jumped out of the moving car on his own, suffering head injuries when he collided with the pavement.
