Save The Children Bus Tour Coming To Newport

Save The Children is bringing their “100 Days of Summer Reading” to Newport. The Cocke County Partnership and the Cocke County Cradle To Career Coalition, known as C5, have joined together to bring Save The Children’s summer reading bus tour to Cocke County. On Friday, July 15th, Save The Children will roll into town with their bus stuffed with books, backpacks and school supplies at Walter State’s Newport Campus in the Tanner Building from 4-7pm. There will be lots of activities for kids and numerous giveaways as well. In fact, children grades PreK and up, will receive a backpack with school supplies, books, and more! All of it is FREE thanks to the generosity of Save The Children and their national partners…plus the the Cocke County Partnership and the Cocke County C5.
